Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Poerta Tjampoean - Ni Raping and Ni Rinit by Willem Gerard Hofker was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2015. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 350,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 375,000.00 (€ 44,001.27). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem Gerard Hofker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ni Goesti Kompiang Mawar in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 781,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Poerta Tjampoean - Ni Raping and Ni Rinit von Willem Gerard Hofker kam im Mai 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 350.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 375.000,00 (€ 44.001,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willem Gerard Hofker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ni Goesti Kompiang Mawar im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 781.000,00.
