This artwork by Willem de Zwart achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2012. In the Nineteen to Now auction, the work By the farm sold for EUR 5,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem de Zwart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Marietje in het gras: the daughter of the artist with a straw head in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 56,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Willem de Zwart erzielte im März 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Nineteen to Now wurde die Arbeit By the farm für EUR 5.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willem de Zwart erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Marietje in het gras: the daughter of the artist with a straw head im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 56.250,00.
