Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work Italianate Wooded River Landscape With Travellers And Their Mules On A Path, A Shepherd And His Flock, And A Mountain Beyond by Willem de Heusch. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 25,249.60) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Willem de Heusch have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2015 the work Italianate Landscape With Shepherds was auctioned for USD 40,000.00 (€ 35,835.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Italianate Wooded River Landscape With Travellers And Their Mules On A Path, A Shepherd And His Flock, And A Mountain Beyond von Willem de Heusch zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 25.249,60) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Willem de Heusch konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2015 die Arbeit Italianate Landscape With Shepherds für USD 40.000,00 (€ 35.835,87) versteigert.
