Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Willem de Heusch could be acquired at Christies in New York in October 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The House Sale auction, the work A landscape with a village in the distance changed hands for USD 750.00 (€ 518.39) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem de Heusch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italianate Landscape With Shepherds in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 35,835.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Willem de Heusch konnte im Oktober 2007 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The House Sale wechselte die Arbeit A landscape with a village in the distance für USD 750,00 (€ 518,39) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willem de Heusch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italianate Landscape With Shepherds im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 35.835,87).
