A top price for Will McBride - as previously expected
The work Selected Images by Will McBride was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in London in May 2012. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,459.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Selected Images is the most expensive artwork by Will McBride that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Selected Images von Will McBride wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.459,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Selected Images das teuerste Kunstwerk von Will McBride, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
