Despite a disappointment, a good price for Wilhelm Wik
In October 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work "Musikanter" (The musicians) by Wilhelm Wik for SEK 11,000.00 (€ 1,279.29). This price was achieved in the auction Modern Autumn Sale, Stockholm at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, "Musikanter" (The musicians) is the most expensive artwork by Wilhelm Wik that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Wilhelm Wik
Im Oktober 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Musikanter" (The musicians) von Wilhelm Wik für SEK 11.000,00 (€ 1.279,29) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern Autumn Sale, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist "Musikanter" (The musicians) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wilhelm Wik, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
