Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Trashstone 370 by Wilhelm Mundt was sold in the Heatwave: Online Auction auction at Phillips in 19 - in September this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 5,334.00 (€ 5,334.00) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wilhelm Mundt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Trashstone 286, which sold at auction in December 2016 for EUR 13,125.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Trashstone 370 von Wilhelm Mundt wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Heatwave: Online Auction bei Phillips in 19 - versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 5.334,00 (€ 5.334,00) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm Mundt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Trashstone 286 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für EUR 13.125,00 versteigert wurde.
