Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction American Art, which included the work Mexican Landscape by Werner Drewes. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,408.00 (€ 1,321.57) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Werner Drewes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Expectation of New Events in November last year with an auction result of USD 75,975.00 (€ 73,597.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mexican Landscape von Werner Drewes zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.408,00 (€ 1.321,57) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Werner Drewes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Expectation of New Events im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.975,00 (€ 73.597,79).
