Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Daphne Ii by Werner Drewes. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,507.21). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Werner Drewes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Expectation of New Events in November last year with an auction result of USD 75,975.00 (€ 73,597.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Daphne Ii von Werner Drewes zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.250,00 (€ 4.507,21) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Werner Drewes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Expectation of New Events im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.975,00 (€ 73.597,79).
