Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Abstract #366 by Werner Drewes was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2018. The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,133.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Werner Drewes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Expectation of New Events in November last year with an auction result of USD 75,975.00 (€ 73,597.79).

Die Arbeit Abstract #366 von Werner Drewes kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.133,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden.
