Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Phillips in 17 - held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, which included the work Warteschleife am Nichts (Holding Loop in the Void) by Werner Büttner. The price achieved of USD 13,970.00 (€ 12,676.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Werner Büttner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ohne Titel in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 86,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Phillips in 17 - die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Warteschleife am Nichts (Holding Loop in the Void) von Werner Büttner zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.970,00 (€ 12.676,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Werner Büttner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ohne Titel im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 86.800,00.
