The work Seven-character Poem in Running-cursive Script by Wen Zhenmeng was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. It achieved a price of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 22,309.76), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Wen Zhenmeng; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Summer Landscape sold at auction in October 2017 with the realized price of HKD 330,400.00 (€ 36,364.42).

Die Arbeit Seven-character Poem in Running-cursive Script von Wen Zhenmeng kam im November 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 22.309,76) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Wen Zhenmeng; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Summer Landscape im Oktober 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 330.400,00 (€ 36.364,42).
