A top price for Wen Yongchen
In March 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work A Hundred Boys by Wen Yongchen. The »bidding war« ended at USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,265.76), 39% above the upper estimate. With this result, A Hundred Boys is even the most expensive work of art by Wen Yongchen that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Wen Yongchen
Im März 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Hundred Boys von Wen Yongchen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 22.265,76) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist A Hundred Boys sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wen Yongchen, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
