Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Landscape of Fengcheng by Wei Zixi. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,759.65). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wei Zixi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mount Huang In Clouds in April this year with an auction result of HKD 84,000.00 (€ 85,780.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape of Fengcheng von Wei Zixi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.759,65) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wei Zixi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mount Huang In Clouds im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 84.000,00 (€ 85.780,43).
