In November 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Welcome To Worried Land by Wedhar Riyadi. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 81,250.00 (€ 7,703.40), 16% above the upper estimate. Other works by Wedhar Riyadi have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,533.61) in May 2015 for the work Beware of your Weapon; & Untitled.
