Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled, 2005 by Weaver Jack was sold in the Important Australian Art auction at Bonhams in April this year. The price achieved of AUD 9,840.00 (€ 5,897.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Weaver Jack have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2020 the work Coming this Way, 2005 was auctioned for AUD 8,540.00 (€ 7,253.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled, 2005 von Weaver Jack wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Important Australian Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 9.840,00 (€ 5.897,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Weaver Jack konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2020 die Arbeit Coming this Way, 2005 für AUD 8.540,00 (€ 7.253,27) versteigert.
