A top price for Weaver Jack - as previously expected
The work Coming this Way, 2005 by Weaver Jack was auctioned at Bonhams in Sydney in July 2020. The price achieved of AUD 8,540.00 (€ 7,253.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Coming this Way, 2005 is the most expensive artwork by Weaver Jack that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Coming this Way, 2005 von Weaver Jack kam im Juli 2020 bei Bonhams in Sydney zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 8.540,00 (€ 7.253,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Coming this Way, 2005 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Weaver Jack, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
