A top price for Wartan Makhokian
In June 2006 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction Russian, which included the work Sotrmy Seas by Wartan Makhokian. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 12,600.00 (€ 18,231.99). With this result, Sotrmy Seas is even the most expensive work of art by Wartan Makhokian that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juni 2006 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion Russian durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sotrmy Seas von Wartan Makhokian zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 12.600,00 (€ 18.231,99) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Sotrmy Seas sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wartan Makhokian, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
