This artwork by Wang Zhaoming achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2015. In the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction, the work Seven-Character Poem In Running Script sold for HKD 43,700.00 (€ 5,050.44) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Zhaoming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poems In Xingshu in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 504,000.00 (€ 53,961.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Zhaoming erzielte im April 2015 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas wurde die Arbeit Seven-Character Poem In Running Script für HKD 43.700,00 (€ 5.050,44) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Zhaoming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poems In Xingshu im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 53.961,10).
