Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy in Xingshu by Wang Zhaoming. The price achieved of HKD 60,480.00 (€ 6,727.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Zhaoming have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poems In Xingshu in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 504,000.00 (€ 53,961.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy in Xingshu von Wang Zhaoming zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 60.480,00 (€ 6.727,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Zhaoming auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poems In Xingshu im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 53.961,10).
