This artwork by Wang Zhaoming achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Poem In Xingshu sold for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 22,024.98) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Zhaoming - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Poems In Xingshu, which sold at auction in April 2021 for HKD 504,000.00 (€ 53,961.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Zhaoming erzielte im April 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Poem In Xingshu für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 22.024,98) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Zhaoming mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Poems In Xingshu beobachtet, die im April 2021 für HKD 504.000,00 (€ 53.961,10) versteigert wurde.
