Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nostalgia by Wang Yunhe was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. It changed hands for a price of HKD 78,000.00 (€ 7,834.65) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Yunhe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The series of Jiangnan cityscape No.3 in November 2005 with an auction result of HKD 420,000.00 (€ 45,954.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nostalgia von Wang Yunhe wurde im Mai 2006 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 78.000,00 (€ 7.834,65) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Yunhe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The series of Jiangnan cityscape No.3 im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 420.000,00 (€ 45.954,20).
