Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Magnificent Cityscape by Wang Yunhe was sold in the Chinese 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2008. It changed hands for a price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 13,901.86) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 120,000.00 – 160,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Yunhe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The series of Jiangnan cityscape No.3, which sold at auction in November 2005 for HKD 420,000.00 (€ 45,954.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Magnificent Cityscape von Wang Yunhe wurde im Dezember 2008 in der Auktion Chinese 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 13.901,86) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 160.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Yunhe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The series of Jiangnan cityscape No.3 beobachtet, die im November 2005 für HKD 420.000,00 (€ 45.954,20) versteigert wurde.
