The work Birdman Playing Qigong by Wang Youshen was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2013. It achieved a price of HKD 112,500.00 (€ 11,156.45), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41%. Other works by Wang Youshen have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,557.07) in April 2015 for the work Xingtian.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 41 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Birdman Playing Qigong von Wang Youshen wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 11.156,45) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41%. Andere Arbeiten von Wang Youshen haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.557,07) im April 2015 für die Arbeit Xingtian beobachtet.
