Auction result well in line with expectations
The work One Finger Zen by Wang Youshen was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 52,500.00 (€ 6,067.46) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Wang Youshen have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2015 the work Xingtian was auctioned for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,557.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit One Finger Zen von Wang Youshen wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 52.500,00 (€ 6.067,46) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Wang Youshen konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2015 die Arbeit Xingtian für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.557,07) versteigert.
