Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Please keep low profile by Wang Yaqiang. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,940.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Yaqiang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 1.90 Cm, which sold at auction in March 2008 for USD 17,500.00 (€ 11,072.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Please keep low profile von Wang Yaqiang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.940,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Yaqiang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 1.90 Cm beobachtet, die im März 2008 für USD 17.500,00 (€ 11.072,45) versteigert wurde.
