Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Sothebys in Beijing held the auction Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work Flame by Wang Tiande. The price achieved of CNY 59,000.00 (€ 8,388.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Tiande have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tranquil Vista in September 2019 with an auction result of CNY 576,000.00 (€ 73,894.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Sothebys in Beijing die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flame von Wang Tiande zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 59.000,00 (€ 8.388,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Tiande auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tranquil Vista im September 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 576.000,00 (€ 73.894,91).
