Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Digital No.09-Sa 36(A)(B) (A Pair Of 2) by Wang Tiande was auctioned at POLY in October last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 24,000.00 (€ 3,075.50) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Tiande achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tranquil Vista in September 2019 with an auction result of CNY 576,000.00 (€ 73,894.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Digital No.09-Sa 36(A)(B) (A Pair Of 2) von Wang Tiande kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei POLY zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 24.000,00 (€ 3.075,50) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Tiande erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tranquil Vista im September 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 576.000,00 (€ 73.894,91).
