Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Ancient Chinese Anecdotes by Wang Tiande. The price achieved of HKD 28,800.00 (€ 29,410.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Tiande - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tranquil Vista, which sold at auction in September 2019 for CNY 576,000.00 (€ 73,894.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ancient Chinese Anecdotes von Wang Tiande zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 28.800,00 (€ 29.410,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Tiande mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tranquil Vista beobachtet, die im September 2019 für CNY 576.000,00 (€ 73.894,91) versteigert wurde.
