Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Digital No.08-Mh51 (Set Of Two Works) by Wang Tiande for HKD 87,500.00 (€ 9,858.19). This price was achieved in the auction The Origo Collection — Contemporary Ink Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 150,000.00 – 300,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Wang Tiande have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tranquil Vista in September 2019 with an auction result of CNY 576,000.00 (€ 73,894.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Digital No.08-Mh51 (Set Of Two Works) von Wang Tiande für HKD 87.500,00 (€ 9.858,19) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Origo Collection — Contemporary Ink Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 300.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Tiande auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tranquil Vista im September 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 576.000,00 (€ 73.894,91).
