The work Landscapes by Wang Shensheng was worth HKD 400,000.00 (€ 42,206.39) to a buyer in April 2018. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 many times over. This high result makes Landscapes the most expensive artwork by Wang Shensheng that we have observed at auctions so far.
