A top price for Wang Shaoling
In November 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Statue Square by Wang Shaoling. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,799.07), 25% above the upper estimate. With this result, Statue Square is even the most expensive work of art by Wang Shaoling that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Wang Shaoling
Im November 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Statue Square von Wang Shaoling zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.799,07) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Statue Square sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wang Shaoling, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
