Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wang Ran achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Hong Kong in November 2020. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Landscape of Mountain Hua sold for HKD 38,250.00 (€ 4,129.77) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Ran achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn Landscape in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 61,980.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Ran erzielte im November 2020 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Landscape of Mountain Hua für HKD 38.250,00 (€ 4.129,77) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Ran erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn Landscape im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 61.980,29).
