Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Boating By The Shore by Wang Ran was worth HKD 138,600.00 (€ 14,839.30) to a buyer in April 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Wang Ran have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Autumn Landscape in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 61,980.29).
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Boating By The Shore von Wang Ran war einem Käufer im April 2021 HKD 138.600,00 (€ 14.839,30) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Ran auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Autumn Landscape im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 61.980,29).
