The work Calligraphic Couplets by Wang Qiumei was worth HKD 35,400.00 (€ 4,046.17) to a buyer in October 2019. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I at POLY and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Wang Qiumei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Correspondences in September last year with an auction result of HKD 189,000.00 (€ 24,593.38).

Die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplets von Wang Qiumei war einem Käufer im Oktober 2019 HKD 35.400,00 (€ 4.046,17) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I bei POLY erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Qiumei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Correspondences im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 189.000,00 (€ 24.593,38).
