Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape After Dong Yuan by Wang Jiu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2005. The price achieved of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 3,938.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Jiu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bamboos Leaning on Rocks in November 2012 with an auction result of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 22,309.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape After Dong Yuan von Wang Jiu kam im November 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 3.938,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Jiu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bamboos Leaning on Rocks im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 22.309,76).
