A top price for Wang Guanyi
In November 2005 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction ASIAN CONTEMPORARY ART, which included the work Nike by Wang Guanyi. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 720,000.00 (€ 78,778.63), 60% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Nike the most expensive artwork by Wang Guanyi that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Wang Guanyi
Im November 2005 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion ASIAN CONTEMPORARY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nike von Wang Guanyi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 720.000,00 (€ 78.778,63) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Nike zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Wang Guanyi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
