The work Pine Tree by Wang Geyi was auctioned at POLY in October 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 25,960.00 (€ 2,967.19), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Geyi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flower in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 401,200.00 (€ 48,888.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pine Tree von Wang Geyi kam im Oktober 2019 bei POLY zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 25.960,00 (€ 2.967,19) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Geyi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flower im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 401.200,00 (€ 48.888,90).
