Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Lotus Pond in Autumn by Wang Geyi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 20,160.00 (€ 2,393.42). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Geyi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flower in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 401,200.00 (€ 48,888.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lotus Pond in Autumn von Wang Geyi kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 20.160,00 (€ 2.393,42) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Geyi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flower im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 401.200,00 (€ 48.888,90).
