Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2007 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Hermit Fisherman by Wang Fu. The price achieved of HKD 2,640,000.00 (€ 251,381.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 2,500,000.00 – 3,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Fu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Old Trees in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 12,036,000.00 (€ 1,324,703.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
