A top price for Walter Stöhrer
In September 2021 Sothebys in Cologne held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Kopf-Torso I (Head-Torso I) by Walter Stöhrer. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 45,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 50,400.00. With this result, Kopf-Torso I (Head-Torso I) is even the most expensive work of art by Walter Stöhrer that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im September 2021 führte Sothebys in Köln die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kopf-Torso I (Head-Torso I) von Walter Stöhrer zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 45.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 50.400,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Kopf-Torso I (Head-Torso I) sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Walter Stöhrer, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
