The »bidding war« ended at SGD 96,350.00 (€ 59,618.87), 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Walter Spies achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blick Von Der Höhe (A View From The Heights) in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 31,480,000.00 (€ 2,987,288.51).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SGD 96.350,00 (€ 59.618,87) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Walter Spies erzielen.
