Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Walter Richard Sickert achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November this year. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work La Parisienne sold for GBP 8,320.00 (€ 9,641.07) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Walter Richard Sickert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L' Eldorado in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 245,000.00 (€ 289,075.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Walter Richard Sickert erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit La Parisienne für GBP 8.320,00 (€ 9.641,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Walter Richard Sickert erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L' Eldorado im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 245.000,00 (€ 289.075,91).
