In the At Home - British & Continental Pictures and Works on Paper auction, the work Mist On The Meadow changed hands for GBP 258.50 (€ 378.14) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Admittedly, works by Walter John Beauvais have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A bustling Mediterranean beach; and Another similar in January 2002 with an auction result of GBP 1,645.00 (€ 2,702.75).
