This artwork by Walter Tyndale achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2010. In the Old Masters & 19th Century Art auction, the work Twin minarets sold for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,323.81) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Walter Tyndale - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Abu Symbel, Upper Nile, which sold at auction in April 2006 for USD 18,000.00 (€ 14,258.56).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Walter Tyndale erzielte im Oktober 2010 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art wurde die Arbeit Twin minarets für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.323,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Walter Tyndale mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Abu Symbel, Upper Nile beobachtet, die im April 2006 für USD 18.000,00 (€ 14.258,56) versteigert wurde.
