In July 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work Portrait of a young man by Vlastimil Hofmann. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,242.80), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vlastimil Hofmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Petites Musiciennes in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 23,550.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Im Juli 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a young man von Vlastimil Hofmann zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.912,50 (€ 2.242,80) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vlastimil Hofmann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Petites Musiciennes im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 23.550,00.
