Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2006 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction Russian, which included the work Studies Of Horses by Vladimir Lebedev. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,320.00 (€ 1,910.02) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vladimir Lebedev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of A Red Fleet Sailor in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 326,500.00 (€ 381,083.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2006 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion Russian durch, in der auch die Arbeit Studies Of Horses von Vladimir Lebedev zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.320,00 (€ 1.910,02) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vladimir Lebedev erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of A Red Fleet Sailor im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 326.500,00 (€ 381.083,97).
