This artwork by Vladimir Lebedev achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2019. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Wrestlers sold for GBP 87,500.00 (€ 102,746.39) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vladimir Lebedev - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of A Red Fleet Sailor, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 326,500.00 (€ 381,083.97).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Vladimir Lebedev erzielte im November 2019 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit Wrestlers für GBP 87.500,00 (€ 102.746,39) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Vladimir Lebedev mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait Of A Red Fleet Sailor beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für GBP 326.500,00 (€ 381.083,97) versteigert wurde.
