Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Billiard Players by Vladimir Ovchinnikov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2018. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,767.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vladimir Ovchinnikov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Before The Celebration, After The Celebration in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 43,200.00 (€ 64,042.45).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.767,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vladimir Ovchinnikov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Before The Celebration, After The Celebration im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.200,00 (€ 64.042,45).
