Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Annunciation by Vladimir Ovchinnikov was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2018. The price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,376.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vladimir Ovchinnikov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Before The Celebration, After The Celebration in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 43,200.00 (€ 64,042.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Annunciation von Vladimir Ovchinnikov kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 9.376,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vladimir Ovchinnikov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Before The Celebration, After The Celebration im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.200,00 (€ 64.042,45).
